How does WeGetFinancing work as a payment option?

At the checkout page, WeGetFinancing appears as any other payment type. All you have to do is click the WeGetFinancing option at the checkout, and complete the application to proceed with the purchase process.

Is WeGetFinancing a lender?

WeGetFinancing is not a lender. We act as the consumer financing gateway between the merchant, customer, and lender in a retail transaction. We help customers by connecting them to a lender, so they can make their purchase. We help lenders by sending them qualified leads that meet their underwriting criteria. And we help merchants by providing their customers with more flexible financing solutions. Following the transaction, your lender will take over as your main point of contact when it comes to any payment information regarding your order.

I’ve accepted a loan, who do I owe?

Our BNPL Gateway works with a myriad of lending sources to cover the full credit spectrum and offer consumer financing to most consumers. If you qualify, one or more of those lenders may offer you instant financing to enable you to pay for your purchase. This means that your chosen lender will be sending the money directly to your merchant, in full, in compliance with the agreement you signed with the lender. Should you choose to accept the proposed financing solution, you will have a repayment obligation to that particular bank or lender.

Do I need to wait to complete my payment obligations before taking my purchase home?

If you were approved for financing at a retail location, you will be able to take your purchase home immediately. If shopping online, you will receive the item(s) you purchased in accordance with the shipping arrangements you selected with the merchant at the time of your purchase.

How do I find out the status of my purchase?

Once you have completed your checkout and accepted a consumer financing offer from a participating lender, WeGetFinancing will authorize the merchant to process your purchase. Please contact the merchant for any updates on the status of your purchase.

How do I find the phone and contact number for the lender who provided me with financing?

You will find the lender’s customer service phone number either in the email confirmation sent to you by the lender at the time of approval or on your monthly statement. Alternatively, you can call WeGetFinancing’s Customer Service at 1-866-298-3757, and we will provide you with that information.

Why would I choose WeGetFinancing over other payment options?

WeGetFinancing offers complete consumer autonomy when making a purchase decision. Our BNPL Gateway provides our customers with a full, transparent view of the financing options available to them. You’ll be presented with tailor-made consumer financing solutions, for which you are already approved. With WeGetFinancing, you can make an informed decision about what lenders, rates, and installments are right for you.

What type of information will I need to provide to WeGetFinancing?

WeGetFinancing's patented state-of-the-art technology identifies, qualifies, and refers applicants within seconds to the appropriate consumer financing lenders. In most cases, the only information you need to provide is your name, address, date of birth, and the last four digits of your social security number.

Why was I prompted to provide my checking account information on my application?

Depending on your credit profile and the purchase price, some lenders may ask you for your checking account information or state-issued driver's license. To further eliminate the risk of fraud and determine your ability to repay your loan, some lenders may require additional information such as your annual income, employment status, and length of time at the current residence.

Will WeGetFinancing debit my checking account?

Providing your checking account does not authorize WeGetFinancing to debit your account. WeGetFinancing only collects this information to enable participating lenders to make an instant credit decision based on their current underwriting policies. This will allow them to determine the amount of credit they can offer to you in order to complete your purchase.

How does WeGetFinancing make sure that my personal information is secure?

WeGetFinancing’s state-of-the-art, anti-fraud technology is designed to protect your identity and prevent identity theft & fraudulent transactions. Your personal information is uploaded to WeGetFinancing’s secure online portal. WeGetFinancing then verifies the information provided against a multitude of reputable third-party data providers.

Do you store any personal information?

WeGetFinancing does not store your banking information. Some of your identifying information is used to verify your identity and credit profile at the time you submitted your original and subsequent financing applications. Does applying for WeGetFinancing affect my credit score?

No, you will not see an inquiry on your credit report from WeGetFinancing. WeGetFinancing's technology will run your credit information through a credit bureau to properly verify your identity and refer your application to the most appropriate lenders. However, that credit verification is a soft dip, and it does not impact your credit score.

It is important to note, though, that some lenders on the WeGetFinancing platform will verify your credit independently from WeGetFinancing. To qualify you for financing, they may pull a hard verification on your credit, which might negatively affect your credit score.

Can I submit an application through a mobile device?

Yes. The application form will fit on any screen size across all technology platforms. You can submit an application from any mobile device, iPad, iPhone, Android phone, tablet, or PC.

Why is my loan still processing?

Your application for financing may be in a “Pending Mode” with some lenders while their underwriters finalize your verification. Some lenders won’t complete your financing until the merchants are ready to ship your item (s). The merchant will let you know when your purchase has been finalized and ready to ship.

Why were you unable to verify my identity?

We recommend that you provide your full legal name and confirm that the billing and shipping address match on your application. Please note that all applications with a P.O Box will be automatically denied.

Why was my loan/credit offer denied?

A high percentage of consumer financing requests are approved through the WeGetFinancing Gateway. However, not all applicants are approved. An offer of credit may not be available to you either due to your current credit position or because your information could not be verified. If denied, we suggest that you reach out to the lender directly for more information, as privacy laws prevent WeGetFinancing from inquiring on your behalf.

How can I reapply?

To reapply, please return to the merchant’s website or physical store and resubmit an application. Be sure to enter all information correctly and use your full legal name. It is important to note that the WeGetFinancing application is not to be used as a Purchase Power Estimator. We suggest that you only complete the application when your cart is fully finalized.

What is the Purchase Power Estimator?

The Purchase Power Estimator is a WeGetFinancing widget that appears next to items at the product page. Participating merchants can add this widget to their website, giving you an estimated payment for their product prior to checkout. All you have to do is hover your cursor over the widget, input your credit range, and you will see a real-time, estimated payment of your Buy Now, Pay Later offer.

What are the WeGetFinancing's consumer terms?

When seeking a consumer financing solution through WeGetFinancing, you must expressly “agree” to the Terms & Conditions provided at the time of your application. By agreeing to the WeGetFinancing Terms and Conditions, you are granting WeGetFinancing the right to seek credit on your behalf. You can review our terms and conditions here.

I need to cancel/return the item that I purchased using WeGetFinancing, what should I do?

WeGetFinancing will mirror the return/cancellation policy of the participating merchant. Please check the merchant’s return policy or contact the merchant directly for assistance.

Can I use WeGetFinancing's BNPL Gateway if I am not a U.S. citizen?

WeGetFinancing’s multi-lender credit program is only available to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and temporary residents legally living in the USA with a valid working social security number.
